From Mt. Pleasant
Travel towards Walker Flat for 42kms.
At about 42 kms from Mt Pleasant & 10 kms before Walker Flat turn left onto Murraylands Road (also sign posted "Swan Reach 29km"). 7kms along this road is the Marne River concrete causeway.
Another 6kms along this same road after the causeway is the first right turn after the causeway; it is called “Sunnydale Road".
4 kms along the Sunnydale Road is a right turn – Christian Road (also sign posted as Devon Downs).
1km along Devon Downs Road turn left at the green building - Simpson Road.
3kms along Simpson Road on the right is our Yellow gate, near the end of Simpson road.
From the Barossa Valley
Travel towards Sedan, then head towards Swan Reach.
Approx. 2 km before the Swan Reach ferry turn right onto a dirt road called Murraylands Road & sign posted "Mannum". If you see the Swan Reach ferry then you have gone too far & need to go back up the hill to Murraylands Road
Approx. 12kms along Murrylands Road turn left onto Sunnydale Road, then follow the above directions.
Look out for the Pilwarren signs on Murraylands Road onwards.
It is a good idea to print these directions & take them with you when travelling to Pilwarren.
We suggest first time visitors try to arrive before dark, it is much easier to find in daylight.
Watch out for kangaroos & wombats, particularly if you travel at dust, night or dawn.
